The Small Appliance & Vacuum Cleaner Hospital (Vacuum Cleaner Hospital) has been in business for over 50 years, serving customers in Jackson and surrounding communities.
In January 2024, Tom Richmond the owner retired and transitioned ownership of the Small Appliance & Vacuum Hospital to long time employee Antonio Alvarado Sr., Tony, a first time business owner worked to gain knowledge of business operations and continued the companies reputation of honesty and dependability with our customers.
With the change of ownership the last 18 months has been a time of transition for all involved. Our big change came in May 2025. The Small Appliance & Vacuum Cleaner Hospital relocated from its home for over 50 years on the corner of N. West Ave. and Wildwood Ave., to 4104 Page Ave., Michigan Center. Our new location is a 2,000 square foot building, that has showroom, lobby, storage, shop, and office space and our customers love it!
We are so thankful for our faithful customers that have followed us to the new store and our new community of Michigan Center that has welcomed us with open arms.
We look forward to many more years serving our customers.
